fter falling to 0-4 to start the season, Geneva has won the last three.  Much like their first win over Livonia (HERE), the Panthers fought back from a deficit to secure the one goal win.  Geneva defeated Wayne 9-8 after trailing for a large portion of the second half.

oming off a break week, there were eight games tonight.  There were three one goal games tonight: Victor over Thomas 9-8, Wayne over Newark 7-6 and Schroeder over Hilton 14-13.  Additional scores were Greece Arc/Oly defeated Eastridge 18-6, Penfield defeated Churchville-Chili 13-6, Marcus Whitman defeated Livonia 17-7, Pittsford over Rush-Henrietta 13-3 and Geneva defeated East Rochester 10-3.

# 223  Geneva Wins First Game of the Season
eneva held off the late advances by Livonia to defeat the Bulldogs 11-10.  This is the first win of the season for Geneva (1-4) and the first loss for Livonia (4-1).  Both teams played a strong game with standout plays on both offense and defense.  Overall, the game was close throughout and it was either teams to win.

Finger Lakes end of season awards come in with 24 First and 24 Second Team All County Players.  There are also 22 Honorable Mention Players.  In addition there were 2 All Americans and 2 Academic All Americans.  As well as Co-Defensive Players of the Year, a Midfielder of the Year and an Offensive Player of the Year.

# 120  Barnhart Scores in Overtime for Waterloo
am Barnhart scored her first goal of the night for Waterloo to give them the 8-7 overtime win over Geneva.  Both teams had the lead during regulation with the game being tied from 3-3 on to the final.  The Panthers took an early lead, but Waterloo scored four out of five straight goals to go into the second half tied 4-4.
